Ski lifts
Wierchomla offers wide variety of ski runs. The whole station is supported by 10 ski lifts.
Our lifts have a total capacity of 14 thousand persons per hour. Here is a brief description of them:
Wierchomla I
So far, the longest ski lift in Wierchomla, has a length of 1600 m, the difference in levels is 300 m, the width of a ski run is 100 - 300 m. It is lighted and artificially snowed. In its lower section its difficult level increases up to red. Quadruple chair, strip tire, time of admission is 12 minutes. In the middle of the trial, in the highland cottage, dining venues and toilets are located. Connected with Frycek, Polanki, Toczek.
Szczawnik I
The second chair lift is 1525 meters, the difference in levels is 273 meters, time of admission is 9 minutes, 2400 people capacity. It is a connection of Wierchomla and Szczawnik. Run is lighted and artificially snowed, wide. Connected with Szczawnik II T-Bag lift.
T-Bar lifts
Frycek located to the right of the upper station of the chairlift, length 825 m, 175 m difference in levels, wide, artificially snowed.
Płatek parallel to Frycek, coupled with the short route liaison. Length 517 m, 116 m difference in levels artificially snowed.
Polanki departs from the main run, in its upper part. Length 940 m, 175 m difference in levels. Wide, gentle run, is often chosen by the amateur carving. At the bottom station little food corner.
Fiedor parallel to Polanki, the run is more diversed. Length is 610 m, 100 m difference in levels. Connected with Polanki in the lower section by the short connector.
Toczek – red run, parallel with the bottom section of the main run. Length 470 m, 100 m level difference
Stonoga Ski training run 110 m of length, separated from the other run, so that people learning are not exposed to injuries caused by a collision with a fast skiers.
The slant of the run is very mild, which provides comfort and safety. Training run is located directly on the part of the cottage in Markówka. The run is lighted and has a snowmaking system.
Szczawnik II - length of 1067 m, 109 m level difference, time of admission: 5 minutes, capacity: 900 people. Connected with Szczawnik I.
SLOPES RECOMMENDED FOR BEGINNERS:
If You have not skied, enjoy a safe, flat training run, which is located at the ski lift - Stonoga. At this practice run, even 3-year-old children do well, here you can arrange first skiing or snowboard lessons. Trial is not connected with the others, there is no rushing skiers or the possibility of running off the road.
Stonoga lift is 110 meters and entering a slower rate than the other T-Bag lifts. Run is very mild. It is artificially snowed and lighted. It is located right next to the Markówka, grill spot and Alpine chalets (B&Bs).
Once a small hill is not enough for you - look at the medium difficulty runs by Polanki or Szczawnik lifts.
Runs for more advanced skiers are: Frycek, the lower section of the Wierchomla I and the Szczawnik 1
Wierchomla I
